Ceramic Coating

The best way to describe Ceramic coating is that it is a thermal barrier.  It can withstand heat up to 1600 degrees. We offer coating in both Black or Cerma Chrome (which results in a polished aluminum look when finished). Our chrome look will not tarnish like chrome will, no discolorations (blue, orange, etc) It is far less expensive as well.

The most common applications of ceramic are on headers, exhaust systems, and manifolds. When ceramic is applied to headers or manifolds two advantages are provided. They protect the headers from rust and corrosion and they also reduce heat loss, which translates into high power output. If headers are coated inside as well which we do to all of ours, It allows the hot exhaust gases to escape more quickly creating less turbulence do to the smoother surface.
Powder Coating

Powder Coating is a process of electrostatically applying powder consisting of finely ground resin and pigment to a metal surface. The coated part is then cured in an oven which result in a high quality, long lasting finish.
Why powder coat?

Items that are powder coated are far more resistant to scratching, chipping, fading, and rusting than other finishes. There are many colors to chose from. Anything from flat or matte to high gloss, metal flake to textured or wrinkled which can help to hide any imperfections in your part. The choices are virtually limitless. Powder is safer for the environment. It doesn't require chemicals like painting. There is no drying time and powder will never run or drip. Quite simply a powder coated piece lasts longer. So the real question is - why not powder coat.
